In this episode, we talk with another 2 local Oregon winemakers. The first takes its name from a particular family heirloom, very special to the craftsman – the second draws inspiration from mythology and the fact that there’s always something new to learn.
Flat Brim Wines
An Americana Winery. They have two labels in their winery and approach each of them with a specific focus. Our Americana line works with American heritage varietals such as Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Syrah, Merlot and present them in new and interesting formats. I prefer a refreshing high acid low alcohol profile for my wines, which, makes them perfect for drinking on a front porch with your friends.
Our goal is to make handcrafted wines that express the unique character of the Pacific Northwest.
This character is not just the soil and climate that produce amazing grapes.
It is also the collaborative and supportive nature of the wine industry.
It is the value people who live here place on quality hand-crafted products.
It is community.
Every bottle of wine contains a story and helps to create a story for those who drink it.
We uncork stories about winemakers from Willamette Valley and nearby. Oregon Wine Wednesdays launching April 2019, where we take our experience on-location to share with your their unique winery hospitality.
